Activity Passes

Activity Passes at the Whitewater Center give you the opportunity to play. The opportunity to get outside. Thopportunity to allow the bustle of day to day life to float away. Choose from 30+ activities to try something new, perfect a hobby, or hop between activities. Play on land with ropes courses, in water down the rapids, or in the air with ziplines from a world class outdoor recreation facility. See detailed information below about each activity and which pass works best for your schedule and skill level.  

All Access Passes

Access to all available activities on day of visit. 

  • Day Pass - $59
    Access to available pass activities on day of visit. $59 (adult); $49 (youth).
  • Two-Day Pass - $109
    Access to available pass activities on two consecutive days of visit. $109 (adult); $89 (youth).
  • Annual Pass - $199
    Access to available pass activities for 365 days from first use. $199 (adult); $169 (youth).

  • +- Whitewater Rafting

    Raft class II-IV rapids on the world’s largest manmade whitewater river. Choose from Family or Adventure style trips. Rodeo Rafting is available as an upgrade.

  • +- Ziplines

    Fly amongst the pines on over 10,000 feet of ziplines. Only available with an All Access Pass. 

  • +- Deep Water Solo

    Climb the world’s first deep water solo climbing complex. Five walls, 25 – 45 feet in height arc over a 20-foot-deep pool. Open to all skill levels.

  • +- Jumps

    Take the leap from heights of 30 – 100 feet. Harnessed in, jump from the ledge as a power fan lowers you to the ground. Only available with an All Access Pass. 

  • +- Ropes

    Trek from bridge to platform on a variety of ropes courses amongst the treetops or above the rapids. Only available with an All Access Pass.

  • +- Climbing

    16,500 square feet of climbing surface offer bouldering, top-rope, and sport climbing on one of the largest outdoor walls in the region. 

  • +- Flatwater Kayaking

    Access over 200 acres of the Catawba River and Long Creek via flatwater kayak. Tandem kayaks available.

  • +- Stand-Up Paddleboarding

    SUP along over 200 acres of the Catawba River while spotting local wildlife. For those with experience and personal gear, take your SUP down the whitewater rapids.

  • +- Whitewater Kayaking

    Access to continuous and pool-drop class II-IV rapids. Paddlers must have previous whitewater experience and provide their own equipment (boat, paddle, helmet, spray skirt, and personal flotation device). Whitewater kayaking instruction is available. 

  • +- Mountain Biking

    Traverse over 40 miles of singletrack via mountain biking, hiking, or trail running. Mountain bikes are included in any Activity Pass. Full suspension upgrades available. Trail system is free to access with personal gear and does not require a pass. 

Single Activity Passes

Access to one of the following activities on day of visit. For Deep Water Solo, Flatwater, Mountain Biking, Whitewater kayaking, and Climbing, this pass allows you all day use or unlimited time for that activity on your day of visit. The Canopy Tour, Zip Tour, and Whitewater rafting includes one trip per each pass purchased. 

  • +- Canopy Tour - $89

    Take a guided tour through the treetops and along the Catawba River via ziplines, rope bridges, and platforms. Canopy Tours begin at a designated time; reserve a time slot either online or through Guest Services. These tours accommodate small groups of 2 – 8 people. Allow 3 – 4 hours for completion.

    *Canopy Tours and Zip tours are not offered within the All Access Pass. These tours are by Single Activity Pass only.

  • +- Zip Tour - $49

    This guided tour takes guests on a 1.5 – 2 hour adventure through the trees via multiple rope bridges, ziplines, and platforms. Zip Tours begin at a designated time; reserve a time slot either online or through Guest Services. These tours accommodate small groups of 2 – 8 people. Allow 1.5 – 2 hours for completion.

    *Canopy Tours and Zip tours are not offered within the All Access Pass. These tours are by Single Activity Pass only.

  • +- Mountain Biking - $30
