Ross Adams just finished up his third studio album in Muscle Shoals, Alabama this past November. Adams had the pleasure of working with Jason Isbell’s 400 unit for a collection of songs that he describes as raw and very personal. The album is scheduled to be released later this year.
Born in North Carolina, Adams laid his musical roots in Charlotte, N.C and from the lure of words and music, Ross developed intricate stories into songwriting. Naturally they fell into his heavily influenced Folk/ Rock/ Americana circuit of instrumentation, as his first two albums “1952” and “Songs from an Ancient Terrace” illustrates.
Adams has shared the stage with many fantastic songwriters such as John Moreland, BJ Barham, Kevn Kinney, Cory Branan and many others throughout his time as a songwriter and looks for his greatest success yet with his upcoming release “Escaping Southern Heat.”
