BadCameo swings a fist full of funk with a cinematic pop.  Formed in Winston Salem and now local to Charlotte, their live performances are a guaranteed all-out dance party. The band’s music is “Textured with shimmers that warm anybody’s heart and deflects any of the day’s bad karma to the wayside”. In October 2017, they released their debut single on Spotify and landed on a “Fresh Finds” playlist within a week. They followed up their debut with five more singles and a live-in-studio EP that quickly began to garner critical acclaim and positive reception among fans.

Beyond the studio, BadCameo has maintained a very active concert calendar. In 2018 and 2019, they have played 100 shows in a wide range of venues and shared bills with bands like Perpetual Groove, Roosevelt Collier, The Joe Marcinek Band, Arson Daily, and Of Good Nature.
