The Whitewater Center is home to one of the largest outdoor climbing facilities in the region. The facility includes 35-45 top-rope routes, nearly 50 bouldering problems, and a 46-foot tall spire for sport and top rope climbing.
Top rope climbing uses an anchor system at the top of the route. The Whitewater Center features top rope routes via manned and auto-belay. Bouldering is practiced on shorter formations without the use of ropes or harnesses. Sport climbing relies on anchors throughout each route, allowing climbers to clip in as they make their way up.
