Zipline & Dine – 2013 Schedule
Zip-line excursion from the south ridge of our facility to the Catawba River followed by a fireside dinner with craft beer and wine.
Participant Schedule:
- Prior to your trip, select your date and trip time and register online (use links below).
- Check in with Guest Services at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your trip.
- Once you have checked in with Guest Services, the zip-line excursions will leave from the south ridge of our facility and last roughly 1:30 – 2 hours.
- Fireside dinner and drinks (2 drinks included) will follow the zip-line excursion.
Price: $75 per person.

Event Details:
With Zipline & Dine, you can zip-line through the trees as the sun goes down before enjoying a fireside dinner with craft beer and wine.
Guests will travel via a course of 5 different zip-lines and 2 roped bridges before rappelling out of the trees alongside the Catawba River. After a short hike back to basecamp, guests will be greeted with craft beer, wine and dinner around a roaring fire pit.
Dinners are prepared special by our chef. Vegetarian and gluten free menus are available, please call Guest Services with any special dietary requests at 704.391.3900.
When will your dates be available? I am very interested in doing this. Do you have any discounts for groups?

Is the Zipline & Dine $75 per person if you have an season pass?
Hi Ann, we do not have a discount for the Zipline & Dine for season pass holders.
Is there a weight limit?
Hi Stacey, the qualifiers for Zipline & Dine are the same as the qualifiers for our Canopy Tour and can be found here: http://usnwc.org/play/land-activities/canopy-tour/. Participants must weigh less than 275 pounds.
Can you tell me if kids can be brought and if so, is there a different price for them?
Hi Bryan, children participating in the Zipline & Dine must meet Canopy Tour qualifiers: children must be 10 years old and those between ages 10-14 must be accompanied by an adult. The price for children and adults will be the same.
Do you have a sample menu?
Hi Aline, the menu is subject to change before each Zipline & Dine but typically for this fireside meal, we serve a protein, a starch and a vegetable. All meals are served with bread and a dessert.
Is there a group rate? I was interested in planning a family birthday party.

Will you be adding anymore dates for May or June?

Is this only offered on Wednesdays? Very interested in doing this but will be driving up from Atlanta and hoping for a Saturday.

Hi, will you all have any other days available to participate in the zipline and dine other then Wednesdays? Hopefully you all can have this on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday?. This will be greatly appreciated.

What happens in the case of bad weather for the ZipLine&Dine?
Hi Jim, the Zipline & Dine will go on in the event of rain. If the weather is dangerous or unending, we will reschedule with our guests.
If we have someone in our party who does not make the weight limit, could they still participate but not do the zipline? If so, would their price be lower?
Hi Bonnie, guests are welcome to participate in just the dinner portion of the evening and the price will be $35.
Can children participate in the zip line and dine?

Some of my friends are planning zipline and dine next month, but I can’t make it there by 6:45PM. Can I come to join them just for the dinner portion? If so, what’s the charge for that?
Hey Amber, if you aren’t able to make the zipline portion of the event, you may participate in the dinner portion for $35.
