Educational Adventures Program + Rafting

This 4 hour program incorporates 1 of our Environmental Adventures (EA) programs plus a rafting trip.

How to get started:

1.  School Trip Coordinator will need to decide which topic they would like to participate in.   Please choose from our EA Program List

2. Download the EA Teacher Packet.

3.  Contact USNWC Youth Programs for details and registration.

4.  Download the Waiver.

Program Qualifiers:

  • Grades 3-8 are eligible.
  • Minimum of 15 students.
  • EA programs run only on weekdays during the school year.

Class Ratio:

Prior to arrival at the USNWC, students will need to be split into teams of 15. The school coordinator must provide at least one chaperone for every 15 students. Each team of students will be lead by an USNWC educator. Group size may vary during programs and activities.

Program Duration:

Each EA program can last up to 75 minutes. A guided rafting trip is 90 minutes. Please include time to change clothes and eat lunch.

Pricing:

$36 per student
$36 per chaperone if planning on participating in rafting. Chaperones are always welcome to participate in environmental education topics at no charge.

Lunch:

Lunch packages are available upon request.
