River Jam Run

Thursday evenings are for music and outdoor adventure at the USNWC, and the River Jam Run is a great way to enjoy both. Kick off the evening with 1.5 mile, 3 mile, or 6 mile run through our trail system, then stick around to enjoy the live music at River Jam. River Jam Run meets each Thursday night at 6:30pm at the Trail Center.

  • 1.5, 3 and 6 mile options
  • Leaves from the Trail Center at 6:30 PM every Thursday from May to September

Additional Event Info:

  • All participants must sign the USNWC waiver before participating
  • Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable
  • There will not be a gear/bag drop at the start/finish for this race
  • Race bib must be visible and worn on the front of shirt/shorts to receive an accurate time
  • See Course Map for aid station locations
  • Participants must be present to accept awards. Awards will not be mailed
  • Locker rooms and shower facilities are located at the main USNWC River Center
  • Event will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by the Race Director
  • All guests are required to pay a $5 parking fee at the USNWC unless guest has an annual parking pass. Annual parking passes are available through the USNWC for $40
  • Headphones, iPods, MP3 players, etc are discouraged for the safety of all participants
  • Remain attentive and courteous at all times, trails will be open to other runners, hikers and bikers
  • No pets allowed on the course
  • The USNWC does not conduct trail rescues in the event of an emergency. Participants are encouraged to call 911 THEN notify event staff if an emergency is encountered

    Will there be a river jam race event on September 17th? I can’t tell if the Thursday night runs continue past September 10th.

      Hey Tim, River Jam Run continues for all Thursdays in September.

    Do the trails have direction markers to indicate which way to go for the different course lengths?

      Hey Lauren, yes there are markers for each course.
