U.S. Junior Team Trials – Canoe/Kayak Slalom

The road to Slovakia comes through Charlotte April 15-16 as the USNWC plays host as junior hopefuls compete for a berth on the U.S. Junior Canoe Slalom Team. Competition will take place over two days, with each day offering a unique course and opportunity for redemption. The top-placed finishers will have the opportunity to be invited to represent the United States at the Junior World Championship in Bratislava.

The U.S. Junior Canoe Slalom Team will be selected based on athlete performance over the two days. ICF and USACK Slalom Rules will be observed during this race with the selection criteria determined by the USACK High Performance Committee.

*Please Note: Athletes must be registered members of USACK.

  • $85 for first discipline
  • $15 per extra discipline

Registration closes on April 9th at midnight.  No late entries will be accepted.

ICF SLALOM COMPETITION RULES:

The Slalom Technical Committee is enforcing ICF Slalom Competition Rules at the 2017 U.S. Junior Team Trials with regards to personal protective equipment. Specifically rule 19.2. Please ensure that your equipment meets these standards prior to equipment inspection. There will be a limited amount of equipment at the event through Galasport USA. Please contact your coach or your nearest USACK representative for details or follow the provided link to the ICF rules.
