Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

The newest craze to hit the paddlesports world is available at the USNWC. Stand-up paddle boarding has become an extremely popular way to enjoy our oceans, rivers and natural waterways. You can now paddle along the Catawba River and take in the natural elements from a completely new perspective.

Stand-up paddle boarding is a great way to workout while enjoying the outdoors. No experience is required to try stand-up paddle boarding. All gear (Stand-up board, PFD and paddle) is included with the purchase of an AllSport, CoolSport or QuickSport Pass. Guests with their own gear are welcome to portage to the flatwater put-in.

SUP Yoga

The USNWC offers guests an opportunity to take their yoga practice outside with SUP Yoga. SUP Yoga is a fun and exciting way to change up your yoga routine or to try a new activity on the water.  Classes are taught on the Catawba River by USNWC SUP instructors who are certified yoga instructors as well.  The classes are group classes offered twice a week and available in packages or as a one-time class.
