The newest craze to hit the paddlesports world is available at the USNWC. Stand-up paddle boarding has become an extremely popular way to enjoy our oceans, rivers and natural waterways. You can paddle along the Catawba River and take in the natural elements from a completely new perspective.
Stand-up paddle boarding is a great way to workout while enjoying the outdoors. No experience is required to try stand-up paddle boarding. All gear (Stand-up board, PFD and paddle) is included with the purchase of an AllSport, CoolSport or QuickSport Pass. Guests with their own gear are welcome to portage to the flatwater put-in.
The USNWC offers guests an opportunity to take their yoga practice outside with SUP Yoga. SUP Yoga is a fun and exciting way to change up your yoga routine or to try a new activity on the water. Classes are taught on the Catawba River by USNWC SUP instructors who are certified yoga instructors as well. The classes are group classes offered twice a week and available in packages or as a one-time class.
