Youth Development

What’s next? Youth development sessions are the ideal way to help foster long term paddler development. These ongoing weekly group sessions provide a fun, relaxed, and engaging atmosphere for young paddlers to meet other paddlers their age while refining and developing strokes, maneuvers, techniques, and skills. These sessions are independent weekly classes that students can choose to sign up for each week. The USNWC Kayak Instruction Levels help track paddlers’ development, providing goals no matter where your child is in their kayaking skill progression. The content for each week’s session is based on the students that are enrolled, tailoring the skills and techniques to their needs providing a consistently engaging experience that is student-centered.
