You will be wet regardless of the weather! Our trips go on rain or shine. On the rare occasion, we do need to cancel a trip due to weather (lightning, for instance).
What should I wear?
For warmer weather, a bathing suit, shorts and a t-shirt are recommended. Rash guards or quick drying clothing is ideal.
For cooler weather, a bathing suit, rain jacket and or/pants, long underwear, wool shirts/sweaters and warm socks are recommended. Cotton and jeans are not recommended as they will only make you colder.
Wet suits, booties and splash jackets are available for rent. Bathing suits must be worn under wet suit rentals.
Secure footwear with a heel strap is required at all times. No flip flops! Old sneakers, water shoes or sandals with a rubber sole are suggested. If you wear glasses, you will want an eyeglass strap to keep your glasses secure to your face. Come visit our retail store to purchase any of the above items.
Can I tip my raft guide?
Tips are not expected, but always welcome and appreciated.

Rafting is an inherently dangerous sport and there is the potential for injury. All participants are required to go through a trip orientation. All safety procedures will be reviewed by your professional guide. Also, each participant is supplied with a PFD (personal flotation device) and helmet for further safety.
