Dirty Dozen Obstacle Trail Race

Climb, jump and run through the 12 obstacles that make up the 3rd annual Dirty Dozen, a 5K and 12K obstacle trail race. These races, which take place on Saturday, October 11 the morning of the USNWC’s Fall Finale, will test your strength, coordination, and stamina as you race to the finish. Though not officially a “mud run,” we recommend wearing an old t-shirt. We call it “dirty” for a reason.

    What are the obstacles?

    • USNWC August 28, 2014 at 4:55 pm

Hi Aj, Some of the obstacles throughout the race are over/under poles, ropes bridges, traverse wall, monkey bars, 8’ walls, tires flips, rings, etc.
The 12 obstacles are permanently built throughout the trail system which you are welcome to come check out.

Does the entry fees cover any charity (ies)?

    • USNWC August 26, 2014 at 10:56 am

Hi kt, All Whitewater Race Series proceeds go towards the Dickson Fund which provides financial support for individuals to participate in the Outdoor Leadership Program and other various experiences at the U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) that promote the active, outdoor lifestyle.
