Questions / Comments

  1. Katie Pitts July 6, 2014 at 6:26 pm

Will there be a place to change in case I fall in the water while kayaking?

    • USNWC July 8, 2014 at 1:32 pm

Hi Katie, we have multiple locations for you to change, if necessary.

  2. John Joye June 25, 2014 at 4:34 pm

Is there a minumum age? I have 10 and 12 year old daughters that I think would love to do this race. Also – could they do it as a relay? Daughter 1 run 5k and paddle, Daughter 2 run the 2nd 5k? This is such a cool event, I would love for them to experience it.

    • USNWC June 25, 2014 at 4:48 pm

Hi John, the minimum age is 9 years old so your daughters are welcome to join. We do not have a relay element to this race.

  4. jackie June 2, 2014 at 9:54 am

Hi, so do you do the run-paddle-run twice once on each day or is it seperated like run the first day and then paddle run the second?

    • USNWC June 2, 2014 at 2:15 pm

Hi Jackie, you may register for either Saturday, August 2, or Sunday, August 3. You will complete all three legs on the day for which you choose to register. Since there is limited capacity, we are hosting 2 separate races: one on Saturday, and one on Sunday.

  5. Joe June 2, 2014 at 9:45 am

Sounds like fun! Can we rent a stand up paddle from you guys?

    • USNWC June 3, 2014 at 12:36 pm

Hi Joe, we will be providing sit-on-top flatwater kayaks, stand-up paddleboards will not be provided.
