Time: 9:30 a.m. check-in, 10:00 a.m. start
Description: 1 mile walk around the USNWC River Loop to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease
Registration: Free event, but please RSVP online.

Event Details:

This 1 mile charity walk supports the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas. Walk the River Loop that circles the channels at the USNWC to raise awareness and help combat Parkinson’s Disease. The walk takes place during the USA Canoe/Kayak Team Trials; come watch the nation’s best paddlers with Olympic aspirations compete for a spot on the National Team.

The Parkinson Association of the Carolinas promotes awareness and serves as a resource to the Parkinson community in the Carolinas through education, outreach and collaboration. Services target those who have Parkinson’s Disease, care partners and their families, friends and physicians.
